I didn't know Izzy for the longest time as I only joined at sixth form, but I will never forget how welcome she made me feel in form time so soon. I'm usually very bad at talking to new people, but Izzy was so outgoing and always made it so easy for me to feel at home at QE so soon, especially given that I was so scared of changing schools. I have many treasured memories of Izzy, from the endless conversations about baking and art to the sugar rushes at lunchtime from having bought too many sweets from Tesco, but my favourite has to be the time when we tried wasabi together, and she ate it like an absolute pro and put me to shame while I was suffering from the spice. Izzy, you taught me to try and talk to new people and proved to me that it wasn't as scary as it seemed, as well as to appreciate the littlest moments during the school day and I will never forget that.
